FBI Files, The Beatles

FBI Files, Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe was found dead from an overdose of sleeping pills (Aug 5th 1962) by her housekeeper. She was naked, on top of her telephone on her bed, with unhealthy levels of barbiturates in her bloodstream. But the typical signs of barbiturate overdose were completely absent.

Evidence is missing, including the original autopsy, her supposed suicide note (which didn't mention suicide at all), and the original police report.

This FBI material concerning Marilyn Monroe contains published information concerning her alleged affairs (Robert F Kennedy) and circumstances surrounding her death.

FBI Files, Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley was not the subject of an FBI investigation. However, the FBI maintains records filed under his name that are comprised of more than 600 pages. Some small sections of these files

FBI Files, Albert Einstein
An investigation was conducted by the FBI regarding the famous physicist because of his
affiliation with the Communist Party.

Einstein was a member, sponsor, or affiliated with thirty-four communist fronts between 1937 and 1954.

He also served as honorary chairman for three communist organizations.

FBI Files, Bonnie and Clyde
This FBI material concerns a summary of the crime spree of Bonnie Parker and
Clyde Champion Barrow in the early 1930's. Barrow was suspected of numerous killings and was wanted for murder, robbery, and state charges of kidnapping.

On May 20, 1933, the United States Commissioner at Dallas, Texas, issued a warrant against
Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, charging them with the interstate transportation,
from Dallas to Oklahoma, of an automobile stolen in Illinois.

The FBI then started its hunt for this elusive pair. Clyde Champion Barrow and his companion,
Bonnie Parker, were shot to death by officers in an ambush near Sailes, Bienville Parish, Louisiana,
on May 23, 1934, after one of the most colourful and spectacular manhunts the
Nation had seen up to that time.

FBI Files, St Valetines Day Massacre
This file recounts information concerning the murders of seven members of the Bugsy Moran gang on February 14, 1929. During this time period, there was no Federal law which would permit the FBI to investigate; therefore, the Chicago Police Department conducted the investigation.

FBI Files, Chappaquiddict
The file known as Chappaquiddick, is also known as the Mary Jo Kopechne investigation.
This investigation was opened when an overturned car was found  in the water at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, Ms. Kopechne's body was in the car. Ms. Kopechne was a former secretary
to the late Senator, Robert F. Kennedy.

It was determined that the driver of the automobile was Senator Edward M. Kennedy. It was alleged he was on the wrong road and drove off Dike's Bridge, with the automobile overturning in the water.
Senator Kennedy managed to get out of the car, but Ms. Kopechne did not make it
out of the car and drowned.

FBI Files, Marlene Dietrich
Marlene Dietrich was born on December 29, 1904, as Mary Magdalene Von Losch, in
Berlin, Germany. In 1932, she made a movie in the United States under contract to Paramount Pictures.

She took the oath of United States citizenship in Los Angeles. In 1942, Marlene Dietrich received notice from the Internal Revenue Service that she owed them money and she needed to make arrangements to pay them or they would be forced to take action against her.

During June and July of 1943, she toured the Midwest in connection with the Treasury Department's War Bond sales. She was married to a German citizen, and had a daughter by him. They accompanied her to New York where her husband stayed most of the time, while Dietrich lived in Los Angeles.

Ms. Dietrich was the victim of an extortion attempt in 1940, and was also threatened with kidnapping along with another actress from the same film studio.
